A Physical Record of the Festival

Every year, Hastings Rocks brings together a room full of people who came specifically to watch the films in its programme. When the festival ends, most of those films go back to being a private link on a hard drive somewhere. We think the ones that played in that room deserve a more permanent home.

The Hastings Rocks Collection is a multi-volume Blu-ray box set drawn from each year's official selection. Films are grouped into volumes as the collection grows, mastered and packaged the same way as the rest of our work — full HD, proper menus, and a spine that belongs on a shelf.

Being included is entirely optional and free to filmmakers who submit — it doesn't replace or interfere with your festival submission, it's a separate keepsake for the films that played.

How It Works

I.

Submit Your Film

Once you're part of the Hastings Rocks official selection, tell us you'd like to be included using the form below.

II.

Grouped Into a Volume

Selected films are grouped by festival edition into a numbered volume of the Hastings Rocks Collection.

III.

Mastered & Authored

We master your film to Blu-ray spec alongside the rest of that volume's line-up — clean menus, no compression shortcuts.

IV.

Yours to Keep

You receive copies of the finished disc — something for your portfolio, distributors, press, or family.

“A screener link is temporary. A physical release says: this film is real.”
